Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA) €“ Income Tax & Scrutiny Specialist

Experience:Minimum 3 years post-qualification (1-5 years) Reporting to: CFO 
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent (Mon€“Sat)  
Job Responsibilities Primary Focus (70€“80% of role) €“ Income Tax & Scrutiny 
 Complete independent handling of all Income Tax matters of the company and promoters 
Manage scrutiny assessments & reassessments (u/s 143(2), 143(3), 148, etc.) from notice receipt to final order 
Draft strong, technically sound replies and submissions supported by latest case laws, circulars, and documents 
Represent the company before Assessing OƯicer, CIT(Appeals), and ITAT Ensure cases are closed with minimum or zero additions 
Tax planning and advisory on business transactions, salary/dividend structuring, etc.
Advance tax computation, TDS/TCS compliance, Form 16/16A, lower/no deduction certificates Secondary Responsibilities 
Oversee finalisation of accounts and tax audit (3CA-3CB + 3CD) 
Guide juniors on accounting, GST, payroll, and routine compliance 
 Prepare monthly tax health reports and MIS for CFO Must-Have Requirements 
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI 
Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience with clear specialisation in Direct Taxation 
Independently handled and closed at least 20 scrutiny/reassessment cases 
Excellent drafting, analytical, and representation skills 
In-depth working knowledge of Income Tax Act, latest judgments & notifications 
Hands-on with Income Tax e-filing portal and TRACES
